October 24th, 2009 had groups all across the Nation gathering to celebrate this wonderful breed. East TN Pit Bull Rescue was at the Oak Ridge Tractor Supply. We were cold and wind blown but we had a great day. The guys from Rocky Top Weight Pulls let all of our dogs give this weight pull thing a try and we had a blast! Jodi Preis (Founder of NPBAD) came out with her little guy JoJo to meet folks and pass out literature. JJ and crew from Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter came hoping to get homes for some bullies.
